The Land Cruiser Heritage Museum is offering an opportunity for a Land Cruiser enthusiast to purchase a vehicle from the museum's collection. Offered for sale is a uniquely custom 1965 FJ45, built by Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers.
This is a custom soft top based on a 1965 FJ45 short bed pickup. The soft top is a factory pattern that was lengthened with two additional bows over a standard FJ40. The build utilized components from at least 27 other Land Cruisers and has been aptly nicknamed, Frankenstein. Custom built for a US Army Special Forces veteran, the design stretched the frame longer than a mid-wheelbase FJ43 but not as long as a Troopy or longbed pickup. The vehicle is built with 60-series axles, 80-series wheels, late model doors, and a Cummins 4BT turbo diesel that can run on biofuel.
Equipped with:
- On board air compressor
- On board welder
- Warn 8274 winch
- H55 5spd transmission
- full float rear axle
- military grade night vision camera
The vehicle is offered at $89,000.00 and can be inspected during regular business hours in Salt Lake City, UT.
